Key Business Advisors is honoured to be a finalist in the 2012 Telstra Victorian Business Awards.
For 20 years now, the Telstra Business Awards has been celebrating the commitment, courage and passion of the innovators and entrepreneurs behind the best Australian businesses. Key Business Advisors was named one of the six finalists in the MYOB Small Business Award category, along with Affirm Software Group, BikeExchange.com.au, Blamey & Saunders Hearing Pty Ltd, Mobius Institute Pty Ltd, and RIHAC.
“This is the icing on the cake for us,” said Key Business Advisors Director Colin Wilson. “We believe, we practice what we preach, and the Telstra Business Awards judges have recognised this as well. We made the finalists out of 5000 entries, and we’re excited to be recognised for our achievements.
“Key Business Advisors has grown over 80 percent each year for the past four financial years, and in the last 12 months, we had our biggest growth spurt since we started. We have achieved our goals and targets… and hit some fantastic milestones this year.”
From a husband-and-wife team in 2008, Key Business Advisors has grown to a team of 14, with offices in Essendon and the Gold Coast. The team joined the celebrations at the 2012 Telstra Australian Business Awards Victorian Gala at Docklands in Melbourne, where the winners were announced.

Key Business Advisors has started gearing up for bigger success in 2013, when it intends to return as a finalist and win the Telstra Small Business Awards. KBA aims to maintain its 80 percent growth over the next 12 months, with plans to boost its team from 14 to 20 staff, open offices in New South Wales and South Australia to offer clients and customers state support, and implement a digital marketing strategy to increase small and medium enterprises’ awareness of how KBA can help them take their businesses from good to great.
